5개월에 걸쳐 6회로 맺는 이 칼럼은 한예종 신문

업데이트되는 대로 링크하려고 한다. 이 칼럼은 예술과 과학의 만남을 시초로 기술과의 융합, 새로운 트렌드의 문제 등에 대해서 논의될 예정이다. 자신의 본래의
모습을 잃지 않으면서도 반복적이고 재귀적인 반복을 끊임없이 하는 ‘프랙탈의 성질’과 같이 예술이 끝없이 다른 분야와 소통을 시도하면서 발전해나가는 모습을 다루고자 한다.
오랜만에 한예종 홈페이지를 들어갔더니 대폭 개편이 되어 캡쳐한 이미지를 함께 올린다. 본격적으로 한예종의 영문이름을 KNUA에서 K’ARTS로 쓰기 시작한 부분과 전체적인 UI를 바꾼 부분이 눈에 띤다. 특히 황지우 총장 시대가 열리고 난 후부터 대폭적으로 바뀐 학교 전체의 디자인 문제와 적극적인 홍보는 ‘고급스런 예술학교’다운 면모를 뽐내기에 한치 모자람이 없다. 물론 내부적으로는 한예종이 조금 더 캐주얼한 모습으로(솔직히는 더 빈티지한 모습으로) 남길 바라는 이들이 적잖이 있겠지만, 소위 말하는 ‘시대가 요구하는 예술학교’의 온상을 찾는 문제에서 내린 하나의 용단이 아닐까 한다.
문화기술론 수업 형식이 바뀐것 아시죠? +_+ 언니는 아마 한 교수님이 강의하신 수업을 들으셨을텐데,, 올해부터 CT교수님들이 돌아가며 각 분야를 강의하시고 있어요. 기술, 예술, 정책, 기획, 등등 각 분야 교수님들의 다양한 강의를 들으며, 딱 연재글과 같은 생각을 했는데.
제 생각들은 그냥 머리속을 한없이 빨빨거리고 돌아녔는데, 아. 역시 언니 글은 정말 ㅠ_ㅠ 명확해요! 문기론 8주에 거친 수업동안 생각들만 많아진 머리가 잘 정돈된 느낌 +_+ ㅋㅋㅋ
그래서 문기론 기말플잭도 그런 맥락으로 접근하자, 라고 시작해서 좁히고 좁히다 착시라는 생물인지적인 요소가, 예술에 어떻게 사용되어 왔고, 기술로 인해 어떻게 더 표현의 자유를 부여받게 되었으며, 앞으로 우리 인간의 인지적인 현상인 착시를 발달되는 기술로 어떻게 활용해서 써먹게될까. 하는 내용으로 이제 슬슬 시작한 단계예요. 흐흐흐.
(사실 저는요. '과학- 예술'관계 보다 그 사이 '생물학적 인지(뇌?신경감각? 호르몬?)'가 어떻게 작용하고 영향받는지- 에 대한 관심이 무럭무럭 자라나는 꼬맹이라, 커뮤니케이션 기말 논문도 자꾸 '인지적인 요소'로 기우뚱기우뚱 'ㅡ' 하네요.)
콩 언니 소개로 언니 블로그를 알게되었는데요, 그 후 업로드 되는 게시글뿐 아니라 과거글도 가끔씩 띄엄띄엄 읽어오면서 정말 크억크억 해왔지만, '플랙탈'이 제일 아. 으. 뭐라고 표현할 수 없을 정도로 좋아요. 플랙탈, 이라는 단어 매치도 너무 맘에 들구요!
아, 그리고 허락하신다면+_+ 게시하신 글을 문기론 조원들에게 소개하고 싶은데 퍼가도 될까요? ^-^ (팀원들도 저처럼 막 머리속에 있는 '그것'을 명확히 표현하지 못해 뒤척뒤척이고 있거든요. 꼭 보여주고 싶어요. ^^)
